a)You can restore your certificate in case you loose it from your PC due to any reason
b)You can install and use the same certificate on another PC
Following are the steps to export (backup) your user certificate from the current PC.
1.. Open Internet Explorer on the machine where you downloaded and installed your certificate.
2.. Click on Tools.
3.. Select Internet options.
4.. Choose Content from the top menu

5.. Click on Certificates

6.. Select your certificate from "Personal" tab and then Click on export

7.. The export wizard will start.

8.. Make sure that you Export Private key of the certificate
(Note: The certificate in not complete without the private key. You can not later on restore the certificate if it’s without private key)

9.. If you like, you can protect your private key with a password(optional)

10.. Include all certification path files and then save the file

11.. Name your certificate and store it somewhere on your PC or on external storage media

11.. Complete the Export Wizard by clicking on Finish button

12.. Click on OK button
